Hiroyuki The To Heart anime began its run on 04-01-1999 and lasted a total of 13 episodes. It was roughly based on one of it's dating simulation incarnations.

The story basically revolves around Hiroyuki Fujita, a highschool boy who seems to make friends with girls pretty easily. He doesn't even need to try ^^; Anyway, he does have one male friend, Masashi, but all the rest are female. The stories are fairly episodic, and the tone of the series is quite laid back. Each episode focuses on rather ordinary things, such as seating placement in class, clean up duty, etc. There's nothing in the series which would have you on the edge of your seat. Everything on the whole looks pretty normal for these people. They do everyday things, but it leaves you feeling good. Well, I feel good after watching it anyway ^^.

Although the show does take a look at ordinary things, there are some aspects of the students which aren't so normal. For instance, there are androids trying to be human, psychics and witches. ^^ The thing about this series tho', is that it doesn't really make those things all that important. It's just stuff that "is".

Opinion
Mrehehehehe, I love this show. ^^; As I said above, it leaves me feeling good. Plus I've learned a thing or two about life for ordinary Japanese students. ^^ The animation is also quite good and I'm yet to see it waver. Maybe that's since it was such a short series. Besides, this is the first game based anime I've seen that was good. ^^ I suppose some people might get bored because of it's laid back feel, but I love it *duh*. ^.^
