Multi is an android (a cleaning robot to be specific) making an attempt to be human. She's a prototype for Kurusugawa Electronics and has been placed in Hiroyuki's school for final testing. Multi tends to make many errors in her tasks. She falls down stairs, drops things, knocks things and can't use a photocopier. But she has a warm personality and is always trying her best. For a robot, she has amazing communication abilities. She even talks to dogs in a friendly manner and gives up her seat on the bus. She wonders about emotions and can be curious. She even once asked a dog what it felt like to be hungry. She also happily absorbs everything Hiroyuki teaches her. ^_^ Even yelling and running around as she mops the floor. Multi realises that in comparison to Serio she is not a particularly good robot. But she isn't bitter about it. She's simply accepted it and continues to try her best to make others happy. As a human she is the better robot. Hiroyuki and Akari don't treat her like a robot at all. They do everything they can to make her feel welcome and help her to experience as much as possible. After her two week period at the school she is removed for comparison to Serio, but is returned to the school after a short period. She was dropped from the test (ie. she failed) and was allowed to return while the company collected new data. |
