We first meet Aoi when she is trying to begin an Amature Martial Arts Club at the school. In the beginning, she is not very successful. But Hiroyuki gets himself roped into helping out the same way he always does (he's just too nice ^^). Aoi has studied karate since she was young nad has made it the goal of her club to enter an "extreme contest". She describes it as a contest with "extreme rules", one where you can use any style of fighting. She is very passionate about her chosen sport, but at times lacks self confidence.
