About the Title
There are a number of english translations floating around for Kareshi Kanojyo no Jijyo. These include, His and Her Situation, His and Her Reasons, His and Her Matters, His Secret Her Secret, His and Her Circumstances, Matters for Girlfriend and Boyfriends and Affairs of the Heart. I've leant towards "His Secret Her Secret" because that was the first translation I heard, although "Affairs of the Heart" does sound awfully pretty ^^. However, if you're surfing the net for Karekano sites then be on the lookout for a number of titles. A rough translation for the nickname, Karekano, is "His 'n' Hers."

With the english licencing of the show, the official translation for the show is "His and Her Circumstances"

How did I manage to get Kare-kano you ask?
Well, I'd read about it in a magazine, and it looked really great, so from that time on I kept my eye out for any possibility of stumbling upon the videos. Lucky for me, while I was on a trip to Sydney (Australia) I managed to find the first five Video CDs (up to episode 12) and the first soundtrack. I was so excited that I simply scooped them up without even giving a thought as to whether or not I could get summaries :P, and was completely oblivious to the hole I'd just burned in my wallet. Bwahahahaha. I can't say that I regret it either. This show is wonderful, and anyone who hasn't seen it yet is sorely deprived.

Fansubs
Karekano used to be fansubbed by, SunHeart Anime, Geofront, Fushigi Anime. But those tapes should no longer be available because the show has been picked up by Right Stuf.

Arima again. ^_^ My Opinions on the show
From what I've seen so far, this is a great show (despite that fact that I had to read the summaries, commit them to memory and then watch the show). If you see it anywhere then I urge you to snap it up at once ^_^. The show uses a lot of still pictures, and I've heard that people complain that Gainax is did this in order to cut costs, however, in my opinion, these images make the scenes all the more effective. The animations are very nice, and the interactions between the characters are great to watch. ^_^ The changes we are shown in Yukino, Arima, and various other members of the cast are wonderfully intruiging. Overall I'd highly recommend it to anyone.
